Ringside Doctor Stoppage: If the ringside doctor determines that a fighter is injured or in a condition that poses a risk to their health or safety, they may advise the referee to stop the fight and declare a TKO.
Submission from strikes: A fighter can actually tap out while being punched. In UFC, this is considered a TKO, while in other MMA promotions, it's a submission.
